A lot of buildings in Santa Fe are made of adobe. This one, the Inn and Spa at Loretto,  is a particularly nice example.

The Saint Francis Cathedral is a large Catholic church that sits a block east of the Plaza. The cathedral was built in a Romanesque style by a bishop who was sent to Santa Fe from France in the 1800's.

Alameda Street runs next to a river and, for a lot of the way, a nice little park. There is art all over the place in Santa Fe. There were many sculptures carved out of tree trunks in this park.

Canyon Road   is the home to dozens of art galleries in Santa Fe. We especially liked the name of this gallery.

We had a wonderful meal at Coyote Cafe   near the Plaza - our favorite meal of the whole trip. We would highly recommend this place if you are in Santa Fe.

We saw the Christmas Shop on the first night we were in Santa Fe, but they were closed. Of course Chris had to return to check it out.
