Our first stop of the day was Montpelier, Vermont. We walked around the State Capitol grounds and also through the inside of the beautiful Capitol building itself. The legislative chambers are very small; the Vermont Senate comprises just a handful of people.

Our next stop was the Cabot Creamery. It had started raining, and we decided to step inside, visit the gift shop, and take the tour. It was worth it, very interesting.

We passed by the little town of Wolcott, Vermont. I took a picture of the town sign in honor of my friend, Roger Wolcott.

We didn't think there would be anything of interest in Wolcott, Vermont, but we came upon this beautiful covered railroad bridge, the Fisher Bridge.
