Still on the Philosopher's Path, we came across another tea
house. There were many, many cats in front of it. A man came along a
little bit after I took this picture and fed them. |

A sculpture in the tea house's garden. |

Another pretty temple at the south end of the Philosopher's
Path. |
|
A gate in the middle of the road, perhaps marking the south
end of the Philosopher's Path. |
|
We continued walking, and in a short bit passed by this
beautiful, elegant temple, one of the nicest I saw the entire time I was
in Kyoto. |
|
There were statues of what appeared to be wild boar in the
entranceway of the temple. |
|
Many Japanese temples have a rope hanging in front of them
like this. |
|
The inside of this particular temple was exquisite. |
|
The entrance gate to Nanzenji Temple at the south end of the
Philosopher's Path. We were tired and did not spend much time there other
than a brief walk around the grounds. |
